Moonsighting for Rabi-al-Thani 1429

“The Astronomical New Moon is on April 6, 2008 (Sunday) at 3:55 Universal Time or GMT (i.e., 11:55 pm EDT on April 5, and 8:55 am PDT on April 5). It will be easily visible on April 6, in North America, even in Alaska. It will be visible in Northern Europe and Northwest Africa with difficulty on April 6. It will be visible all over the world except New Zealand on April 7, Insha-Allah. In New Zealand, it will be visible on April 8.”
